EticaAG President Joins National Fire Protection Association to Advance BESS Fire Safety Standards

EticaAG, a leader in non-flammable Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), proudly announces that its President, Matthew Ward, has joined the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). This membership reflects EticaAG′s continued commitment to industry collaboration and advancing fire safety in the rapidly growing energy storage sector.
Matthew Ward′s participation in NFPA connects EticaAG directly to the organization′s important work in developing standards such as NFPA 855, which governs the installation of stationary energy storage systems. His involvement allows EticaAG to remain at the forefront of safety-focused innovation, contributing technical insights based on the company′s proprietary immersion cooling and fire suppression technology.
“Joining the NFPA allows us to engage with the broader safety community and help shape the future of energy storage safety,” said Matthew Ward, President of EticaAG. “At EticaAG, we stop the battery fire from ever happening. But we′re not just preventing fire propagation—we′re redefining what safe energy storage looks like.”
EticaAG′s LiquidShield Immersion Technology submerges battery cells with a non-toxic, fire-retardant liquid, eliminating the risk of fire spreading from thermal runaway events. This approach represents a shift in how safety is engineered into BESS from the cell level up.
