王孝揚 Gavin Wang

Gavin Wang is the founder and Chairman of ETICA Battery, and a co-founder of EticaAG through its joint venture partnership. He leads product innovation, engineering, and manufacturing strategy across both organizations.

With over 25 years of experience in lithium battery development, He has been instrumental in advancing safety standards and system reliability in energy storage. He launched ETICA Battery in Taiwan during the early emergence of lithium-ion technology, growing it from a three-person startup into a recognized leader in specialized battery applications. 

Under his leadership, ETICA became one of Taiwan’s first battery manufacturers to enter the BESS market, developing proprietary anti-propagation designs and pioneering the use of immersion cooling for thermal risk elimination. These technologies now serve as the foundation for ETICA non-flammable battery systems. 

He remains focused on expanding this platform into the North American market to drive safer energy adoption and restore public confidence in grid-connected storage.
